Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County is seeking a Grants Compliance Manager to lead a $10M+ grant portfolio across federal, state, local, and private sources. This full-time, exempt role reports to the CFO and drives compliance, risk management, and financial stewardship in a hybrid setting (3–4 days in the office).

Responsibilities include end-to-end grant lifecycle management, budget oversight, reporting, audits, and donor liaison. A Bachelor’s is required; a Master’s is preferred for advanced roles.

Qualifications

• The candidate has at least four years in grants management, compliance, or sponsored programs.
• Knowledge of federal grant requirements (2 CFR Part 200) and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leaders and funders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of grant compliance and post-award administration.
• Lead budgeting, reporting, monitoring, and closeout across the grant lifecycle.
• Review grant terms, budgets, and funder requirements; identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Monitor spending, internal controls, reimbursements, and prepare financial reports.
• Train Finance, Development, and program staff on grant requirements and controls.
