Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City is seeking a Grant and Compliance Manager to manage day-to-day public-grant compliance and oversee vendor compliance across programs, ensuring trust and accountability with funding partners. This role supports expansion of our mission of homeownership.

You will work closely with the Director of Advocacy and Community Collaboration and the finance team to implement processes, tracking, and reporting, including CHDO status recertification and federal grant

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public, non-profit or business management or related field.
Ability to interpret government regulations and grant contracts.
Experience with budgeting, auditing and government contracts.
Federal grant management experience strongly preferred.
Attention to detail and understanding of cross-department compliance.
Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead vendor compliance and management functions for the affiliate ensuring compliance across vendors.
Training on financial and compliance procedures with finance coordination.
Ensure organization compliance with federal, staff and local grant requirements and file reports.
Coordinate with finance to ensure internal controls are followed.
Maintain CHDO status reporting and recertification.
Monitor grants on-site for provisions like Section 3 and Davis Bacon.
