Job summary

Iron County Care and Share is seeking a Grants & Community Development Manager in Cedar City to lead grant development, fundraising support, donor engagement, and community partnership efforts. This role researches funding opportunities, prepares competitive grant proposals, maintains a grant pipeline, and supports reporting and renewals.

The Manager collaborates with the Executive Director, Finance/Grants staff, Marketing, and program leadership to identify funding needs and communicate program

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business applications.
• Ability to learn grant portals, donor-management systems, and other development software.
• Understanding of nonprofit organizations and community-based services.

Responsibilities

• Research government, foundation, corporate, and other funding opportunities aligned with ICCS programs and priorities.
• Maintain an organized pipeline and calendar of prospective grants, applications, reporting deadlines, and renewals.
• Prepare grant applications, letters of inquiry, proposals, and other funding requests.
• Coordinate with leadership and program staff to develop budgets, outcomes, service data, and supporting information.
• Maintain current organizational narratives, program descriptions, statistics, outcomes, and commonly requested grant documents.
• Assist with grant reports, renewals, funder communications, and other post-award activities.
• Evaluate potential funding opportunities and recommend those that best fit ICCS priorities and capacity.
• Maintain organized records of applications, awards, declines, pending requests, and prospective funding sources.
