Job summary

Salt Lake County seeks a knowledgeable administrator to lead economic development programs, manage grant portfolios, and build public/private partnerships. You will collaborate with leadership to advance community resources, analyze budgets, and present findings to councils and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience, with capabilities in negotiation, research, and strategic planning. Hybrid work is available in certain positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Communication, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or closely related field, plus four (4) years of related experience.
• Background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in RAP Back program is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees research, strategy, partnerships, and contracts for programs and projects assigned.
• Manages federal grant programs, including policies, procedures, and negotiations.
• Prepares RFPs and negotiates contracts for programs assigned.
• Identifies and promotes new business opportunities and research efforts.
• Raises economic information to private and public sectors; assists in budget planning and adjustments.
