Job summary

Independence School District is seeking a Project Accountant to ensure effective office operations and robust financial oversight. The role will manage accounts, reports, and compliance with grant guidelines while supporting district personnel in best practices for financial reporting.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA preferred), strong communication skills, and experience with data management and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field required.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in leadership/supervisory role preferred.

• Performs various office management tasks.

• Maintains files, memos, data, and reports.
