Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center, Inc. in Newark, NJ, is seeking a Grant Accountant to maintain accurate financial records for all grant-funded activities, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and organizational goals.

The role focuses on grant budgeting, receivables, reporting, and reconciliation. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least two years in nonprofit grant or fund accounting, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nonprofit grant accounting or fund accounting.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software (MIP preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
