Qualifications

• 1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in business administration or related field plus 3 years of professional experience in sponsored project administration, financial or governmental accounting.
• 2. Broad knowledge of business management principles and practices.
• 3. Knowledge of federal/state laws related to sponsored project administration/finance.
• 4. Ability to resolve complex problems with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, reconcile, analyze, and report on spending and budget activity across multiple fund types.
• Ensure procurement/receipts/issue records are documented for fiscal accountability.
• Review and assist in development of budget proposals and expenditure plans.
• Prepare forecasts for short- and long-term financial plans and provide spending recommendations.
• Provide fiscal reports and correspondence for internal/external review.
