Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a Grants Management professional to support the Solid Waste Districts. The role covers reviewing grant applications, ensuring compliance with solid waste laws and preparing financial monitoring.

The position emphasizes developing and training on a Qualtrics reporting system, staying current with regulations, and participating in industry webinars to build expertise. Office hours are standard, with on-site duties in Jefferson City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience; additional education or experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of grants management principles, regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to analyze data and disseminate information effectively.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing conditions and new information.

Responsibilities

• Review SWMD grant applications for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Complete Biennial Financial Monitoring for SWMDs with under $250,000 in solid waste funding.
• Assist with Qualtrics reporting system development and train users.
• Attend conferences or webinars on recycling, waste reduction, or related topics to build subject matter expertise.
