Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or 2 years accounting experience with an associate degree.
  • Experience with school and/or non-profit grants management and finance required.
  • Ability to interpret grant funding requirements, submissions, and budgets.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn industry-specific software.
  • Team player able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review incoming invoices and deposits for accuracy.
  • Create payment vouchers and code invoices to correct accounts.
  • Prepare credit card expenses and reconcile monthly.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure grant processes run smoothly.
  • Prepare work papers for annual financial audits.
  • Provide clerical support as needed.
  • Analyze data for SBOA compliance and reconcile ledgers.
