Brown University is seeking a Grants and Financial Manager to provide high‑level financial services for faculty, staff, and students. You will manage pre‑ and post‑award activities, coordinate effort certification, and handle salary reallocations and costings for sponsored awards.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of financial experience in an academic setting, along with strong MS Office, Workday, and policy‑driven accounting skills.
This position provides high‑level comprehensive pre‑and post‑award management and financial services to Applied Mathematics faculty, staff, and students. The Grants and Financial Manager provides research management support, including budgetary/financial planning and analysis, research administration, payroll reconciliation, purchasing oversight, account management, coordination of effort certification process, coordination of salary reallocations and costings, and financial planning of sponsored awards.
This position is hybrid-eligible.
