Job summary

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services is seeking an Analyst II to perform advanced grant analytics, reporting, and grant management functions. The role requires handling complex applications, budget detail worksheets, and quarterly fiscal reports, while meeting legal and internal deadlines.

The analyst will develop procedures, advise management on program impact, and travel statewide about 25% to support Cal OES objectives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal and state grants and reporting.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% statewide.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, process and prepare responses to grant forms and reports.
• Prepare complex funding requests, budget detail worksheets and quarterly reports.
• Advise management on program impact and develop procedures and policy options.
• Maintain deadlines and coordinate with multiple programs and stakeholders.
