Job summary

Community Legal Aid SoCal is seeking a Compliance & Grants Analyst to strengthen grant management through detailed financial analysis, compliance monitoring, documentation review, and reporting support. Working under the Director of Grants, you will ensure grant expenditures and sub-recipient activities comply with federal, state, and local requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200.

Qualifications

• Three years of grants management or related experience.
• Experience with federal grants and 2 CFR Part 200 preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP/GASB and fund accounting helpful.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure grant compliance by reviewing expenditures, contracts, and vendor payments per funder requirements and 2 CFR Part 200.
• Monitor grant financial activity, process invoices and reimbursement requests, and prepare financial and compliance reports.
• Maintain audit-ready grant files, tracking systems, calendars, award documentation, deliverables, and funder communications.
• Coordinate with program, finance, compliance, and administrative teams to gather information for proposals, reports, and requests.
• Support sub-recipient monitoring through risk assessments and site visit preparation.
• Provide audit support, training, and development of internal grants controls and resources.
• Assist with funder site visits, monitoring reviews, and audits by organizing materials and follow-up items.
• Other duties as needed to meet business needs.
