Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.
• Substitutions: Bachelor's degree plus three years of related experience; 30 credit hours for five years of experience; or military service in Budget Officer/Financial Management roles for year-for-year credit.
• Two years experience in full life cycle grant management in government; experience in criminal justice grants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- to post-award monitoring, site visits, audits, and reporting to protect state resources and ensure compliance.
• Review grant applications, budgets, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; recommend revisions for approvable status.
• Assist with NOFA releases, award processing, peer review, sub-award closeout, GAN review, and federal paperwork submissions.
• Maintain grants records in GMS; validate data in PMT, FFATA, and SAR.
• Collaborate with program staff and federal partners; provide technical assistance to sub-recipients.
• Run monthly GMS queries and reports; escalate issues to program managers as needed.
• Provide monthly updates on balances and performance to directors.
• Maintain DOJ training certification; undertake special projects as assigned.
