Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration or closely-related field.
• Five years' technical grants administration experience in government or municipal settings; three years in supervisory/lead role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff involved in grants administration.
• Develops a grants management plan with goals, objectives, and compliance measures.
• Identifies grant opportunities aligning with County strategy and funding agency parameters.
• Maintains relationships with funders and strategic partners locally, state-wide and nationally.
• Develops and monitors a Grants Management System (GMS) process and ensures documentation aligns with policy.
• Provides guidance on grant implementation, financial reporting, and agency compliance.
