The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, strong PC skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressively responsible experience in accounting or related field.
• Demonstrated experience using PC software including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate setup of new grant awards and related matching funds; manage records through the life of the grant.
• Review and monitor institutional expenditures to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Process accounts payable including pre-audit and payments via BPAs, Smart Buy, and Chrome River.
• Verify payroll corrections in Banner and apply EPAF forms to sponsored programs positions.
• Collaborate with investigators and administrators to resolve financial discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain detailed financial records to support audit readiness and compliance with regulations.
