Job summary

Mikva Challenge in Chicago seeks an Institutional Giving Manager to secure and steward foundation, corporate, and government support. You will translate Mikva’s mission and programs into compelling proposals, reports, and funder communications.

You will manage a portfolio of funders, coordinate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, and work with program, finance, evaluation, and communications teams to meet deadlines and revenue goals. Hybrid role based in Chicago or the Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of four to six years fundraising experience with responsibility for grant writing and management.
• Experience managing foundation grants; corporate and government fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and timely submission of high quality grant materials (LOIs, proposals, reports, funder presentations).
• Collaborate with staff to gather program updates for accurate grant reporting.
• Ensure compliance with funder/government grant requirements; track deadlines and site visits.
• Provide writing support for donor acknowledgements, stewardship, and funding requests.
• Collaborate with communications to create compelling fundraising materials.
