Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Los Angeles is seeking a Grant Writer to research, write, submit, and manage federal, state, county, city, and private grant proposals and reports from our Mid-City LA office. This on-site role requires strong knowledge of public-sector regulations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional grant writing experience.
• Demonstrated success securing grant funding.
• Experience with nonprofit and public-sector funding sources, including federal, state, county, and city grants.
• Strong knowledge of grant compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and evaluate grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, county, and city regulations and funding guidelines.
• Manage grant timelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership teams to gather data, budgets, and narratives.
• Track grant outcomes and maintain accurate grant records.
• Support post-award reporting and renewal submissions.
