Job summary

All Seniors Foundation is seeking a Grant Writer to research, draft, and submit grant proposals that fund free programs serving Los Angeles seniors. You will translate impact stories into compelling foundation, government, and corporate funding proposals in collaboration with program leadership.

You will manage deadlines, gather data, and prepare compelling budgets and narratives for 3–6 proposals monthly, while building relationships with funders and providing thoughtful reports on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong writing portfolio demonstrating successful grant awards (private foundation, government, or corporate)
• Familiarity with healthcare nonprofit funding landscape; senior services experience a plus
• Excellent research, project-management, and deadline discipline
• Comfort with logic models, budgets, and outcome measurement frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, public health, or related field

Responsibilities

• Research foundation, government, and corporate grant opportunities aligned with senior care, healthcare access, and aging-in-place programs
• Draft and submit 3–6 high-quality grant proposals per month with full budgets, logic models, and program narratives
• Maintain a grants calendar tracking deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal cycles for active funders
• Collaborate with program directors to gather impact data, beneficiary stories, and outcome metrics for proposals
• Write final reports for funded grants including financial reconciliation and program outcomes
• Build relationships with foundation program officers through professional outreach and stewardship communications
