Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. is seeking a Grant Writer to research, prepare, submit, and track grant proposals across Federal, state, local, and private sources.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain knowledge of Gaudenzia's treatment continuum to craft compelling proposals that advance our mission. The role requires exceptional writing/editing, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple grants with deadlines, budgets, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required
• At least two years of experience in proposal writing or editing in a similar industry

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups
• Actively prospect for new opportunities aligned with organizational goals
• Vet opportunities for alignment, feasibility, and sustainability
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals by required deadlines
• Attend pre-bidder conferences, draft proposal summaries for leadership review
• Schedule proposal planning meetings with internal stakeholders
• Support development of goals, outcomes, and evaluation metrics
• Maintain grant repository and database
• Follow up with funding sources on award status
• Understand agency history, programs, and financial needs
• Coordinate and facilitate kick-off meetings for reporting requirements
• Maintain active grant calendar
• Collaborate with post-award team for spend-down and reporting
• Evaluate grant outcomes and programmatic reporting
• Develop relationships with funders and provide progress updates
• Research evidence-based practices for SUD treatment
• Leverage agency data to build cases for support
• Other duties as assigned
