Job summary

Linc Housing seeks a Manager of Institutional Giving to lead the foundation, corporate philanthropy, and government funder grants lifecycle. You’ll prospect, strategize, write proposals, submit, and report, while cultivating funder relationships and guiding a small donor portfolio.

This role partners with Communications and Finance to tell impact stories across grants and campaigns. Based in Long Beach, CA, this hybrid position reports to the Director of Corporate Development and may supervise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, public policy, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 5+ years in institutional fundraising, grant writing, and grants management.
• Experience with CRM/donor databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own the department's grant tracking system and calendar, ensuring deadlines and compliance across the grants portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end grants process: prospecting, cultivation, proposals, submissions, reporting across foundations, corporate giving, and government funding.
• Build relationships with funder staff and program officers to identify priorities and opportunities for support.
• Identify new institutional funding opportunities and maintain a robust funding pipeline.
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, LOIs, and applications; ensure timely grant reporting and budgeting.
