Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of two years of accounting/finance experience (university preferred).
• Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-award and post-award research administration for the Department of Chemistry.
• Manage budgets, track performance, and ensure compliance with MIT and sponsor policies.
• Administer proposal budgeting, submission, and JIT/cost-sharing processes.
• Oversee general, fund, and research accounts, monthly forecasting, and account closeouts.
