Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, Inc. seeks a Grants Project Manager at the Steinbrenner Metro Service Center in Tampa, FL.

This exempt, full-time role oversees day-to-day grant management to ensure performance, measurement, and outcomes meet federal program requirements and funder expectations. Under the Director of Grants Project Performance, you will generate technical reports, coordinate with program, finance, IT, and facilities, and manage multiple grant contracts while ensuring accurate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or direct experience with grants of at least 3 years may substitute for education.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
  • Proven history of managing grants from private, corporate, and/or government sources.
  • Expertise in nonprofit financial reporting, budget development, and grants compliance.
  • Proficiency with grant databases and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Boys and Girls programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains an up-to-date database of proposals and reporting due dates, informing staff of deadlines and ensuring on-time follow-through on grant applications and reports.
  • Maintains accurate electronic and hard copies of grant files and data for primary grants and others as assigned.
  • Acts as liaison between Club staff receiving awards and grantors to ensure funder reports are complete, timely, and accurate. Assists in preparing reports to funding sources.
  • Prepares databases to generate adequate grant and project reports.
  • Oversees multiple grant contracts under the Director of Grants Project Performance.
  • Works with program, finance, IT, and facilities staff on project goals, activities, outcomes, and grant Deliverables; coordinates with accounting on billing of reimbursable expenses.
  • Communicates progress of grant project activities to internal and external audiences.
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The Grant Project Manager oversees the day -to -da y mana ge m e nt of eac h gra nt to ensure proj ec t p e rform a nc e and mea s ur es and d e li vers outcom es in accordance with fe d era l r eg ulation s within pro gra m r e qui r e m e nt s, and polici es a nd pro ce d ures. In a ddition , th e Grant Proj ec t Manager also s ubmit s t ec hnical reports required b y th e fundin g organization. Under th e direction of th e Di r ec tor of Grants Project P e rform a n ce , th e Grant Project Manager will oversee multiple grant contracts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

TRAVEL:

Travel may be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas County for training and/or other business purposes.
