Job Summary

This position supports our offices in Duval, Nassau, Pasco & Pinellas counties. Daily responsibilities include researching and identifying grant opportunities, acquiring and compiling data, completing and submitting grant applications, maintaining grant data and providing status updates/reporting to internal and external customers as required, and ensuring compliance with grant responsibilities and accountabilities. Occasional travel is required between offices in Northeast Florida and Suncoast Florida.

Essential Duties
  • Actively research and identify grant opportunities and other similar funding sources.
  • Create, monitor, and refine systems to track grant opportunities and submissions.
  • Coordinate with appropriate staff to determine and confirm which grants to pursue then initiate and complete the grant application process.
  • Manage data collection and reporting systems for acquired grants; prepare timelines and status reports. Maintain grant and program records.
  • Ensure responsiveness to grantor/compliance with scope of grant. Assure performance of grant implementation. Act as liaison with grant contacts.
  • Facilitate and maintain grant-related community partnerships.
  • Facilitate/liaison department MindShare/CoBRIS requests/needs.
  • Attend appropriate meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated history of receiving local and/or state awards.
