Job summary

Larimer County's Office of Emergency Management seeks a detail-oriented Grant Project Specialist to support the implementation, coordination, and administration of multiple local, state, and federal grant-funded projects. This role requires a self-motivated, organized professional who can manage their schedule and tasks to ensure goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Business Admin, Public Admin, or related field.
• Three years of experience in research or public administration, including grant administration, grant management, grant coordination, obtaining funding for grant projects and programs, and grant writing.
• Reliable transportation to work at various locations as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with internal and external partners to support successful grant project execution.
• Coordinating and facilitating project meetings, activities, and follow-up.
• Preparing financial reimbursement packages and project progress reports.
• Maintaining accurate grant and project documentation.
• Monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure requirements and deadlines are met.
• Developing materials to communicate project activities, progress, and status.
• Assisting with other grant project coordination and administrative needs.
