Job summary

Larimer County is seeking a Grant Project Specialist to support the implementation, coordination, and administration of multiple grant-funded projects within the Office of Emergency Management. The role demands proactive scheduling, collaboration with partners, and meticulous documentation.

The ideal candidate will manage grant timelines, prepare reimbursement packages, and communicate progress to stakeholders, while adapting to occasional travel and flexible hours to meet project needs.

• Ability to collaborate with diverse partners and audiences.
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting processes and systems.
• Strong meeting facilitation and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support successful grant project execution.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, activities, and follow-up.
• Prepare financial reimbursement packages and project progress reports.
• Maintain accurate grant and project documentation.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, and budgets to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Develop materials to communicate project activities and status.
• Assist with other grant project coordination and administrative needs.
