Job summary

Broward County seeks a program coordinator in the Office of Justice Services, Crisis Intervention and Support Division, to manage a major county program, oversee grants, data reporting, and partnerships with law enforcement and prosecutors.

The position is grant-funded, with a schedule Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, located at the Nancy J Cotterman Center; requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of project management experience in human services; bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, public administration or closely related field. (One year of relevant experience may substitute for each year of education.)
• Requires two years of experience in staff/admin capacity managing special projects, programs or operations in Human Services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages a large program or project within an agency.
• Plans, develops and evaluates programs; prepares reports and analyzes data.
• Develops policies and guidelines related to programs and services.
• Oversees grants processes, budgets and reporting to ensure compliance with Broward County policies.
• Maintains records, communicates changes to staff and stakeholders, and supports OVW grant deliverables.
