Job summary

The City of Amarillo seeks a Senior Grant Administrator to supervise the Community Development Department's grant programs (CDBG, HOME, ESG, CoC, HMIS) and a grant monitoring team. You will ensure compliance, prepare reports, and coordinate budgets and proposals for federal and state funding agencies.

You will provide guidance to department staff and partners to advance funding strategies and achieve program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s preferred.
• A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grant programs and monitoring team.
• Provide technical assistance on project implementation and funding agreements.
• Prepare and submit reports and environmental review records.
• Coordinate budgets, proposals, and performance reports for funding agencies.
• Guide department staff and partners on regulatory requirements.
