Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Policy Analyst to support the TEAM UP Center's financial management and internal operations. The role oversees budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and financial reporting across grants, contracts, donor funds, and other accounts.

Under the Director of Operations, you will collaborate with TEAM UP leadership, finance, sponsored programs administration, and external partners to ensure accurate financial management and consistent center operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, health care administration, public health, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in grant and contract administration, financial management, budgeting, post-award administration, operations, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Manages financial administration across full lifecycle of grants, contracts, donor funds, and other funded accounts, including pre-award budget development and award closeout.
• Manages center-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, salary allocations, and financial reporting to support leadership decisions.
• Coordinates financial and administrative processes including purchasing, reimbursements, accounts payable, invoicing, and pre-award activities.
• Develops, documents, and maintains operational processes and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates onboarding and administrative guidance for staff in partnership with hiring managers.
