Job summary

Crime Victim Center (CVC) in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an experienced Grant Manager to oversee the agency’s federal, state, local, and private foundation funding.

You will manage the full lifecycle of grants—from research and proposal development to reporting, audits, and closeout—working closely with the Executive Director and program staff. The role requires strong writing, compliance expertise, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines independently.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in grant writing and grant management.
• Experience managing state and/or federal government awards.
• Ability to manage multiple grants and competing deadlines.
• Strong writing, editing, research, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret grant contracts, regulations, budgets, and funding requirements.
• Experience preparing reimbursement requests, grant reports, and supporting financial documentation.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants through the full award lifecycle from application to closeout.
• Review grant agreements, contracts, budgets, and funder requirements.
• Monitor expenditures, budgets, and reporting timelines.
• Prepare reimbursement requests, invoices, and financial reports.
• Develop and submit competitive grant applications and renewals.
• Coordinate with program staff to collect data and outcomes for funders.
• Maintain grant records and respond to funder inquiries.
