Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Grant Manager to lead a high-impact, post-award grants team in the Pacific Northwest. You will oversee more than 400 active grants, ensure compliance with diverse regulations, and drive reporting improvements in partnership with leadership and program managers.

You will mentor staff, support ERP implementation, and build dashboards to enhance financial visibility and performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Several years of grant accounting experience with a strong focus on post-award administration.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of grant compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A process improvement mindset with the ability to lead organizational change.
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization's post-award grant accounting function.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of grant accounting professionals.
  • Oversee financial management for more than 400 active grants ranging from thousands to tens of millions of dollars.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, tribal, and grantor regulations.
  • Prepare and review grant financial reports, reconciliations, and closeouts.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve grant visibility and financial performance.
  • Partner with leadership, program managers, auditors, and outside CPAs.
  • Improve grant accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Support ERP implementation and ongoing process improvements.
  • Train and develop newer accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.

What We're Looking For
