Job summary

Pensacola State College invites applications for a part-time Tutor Lab Manager in the TRIO Student Support Services program. The role oversees daily tutoring operations, hires and guides tutors, and ensures high-quality in-person and online services while maintaining compliance with grant requirements.

The position reports to the TRIO Director and requires an Associate of Arts (Bachelor’s degree preferred) with a background check.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited institution with an Associate of Arts is required,
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Successful results of a criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all tutoring services, including training and managing all tutors.
• Maintains materials, supplies, and equipment for tutoring within budgetary constraints.
• Works with Director to collect and evaluate data on schedules, participation, services, and best practices; prepares reports and implements improvements.
• Ensures safety and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor and campus police/public safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
