Job summary

Pensacola State College seeks a part-time Tutor Lab Manager to run the TRIO tutoring lab and provide tutoring services. You will help recruit tutors, guide their methods, manage in-person and online services, and generate reports to meet program goals.

This grant-funded role reports to the TRIO Director. Minimum qualifications include an Associates of Arts; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a statewide FDLE background check is required for employment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited institution with an Associate of Arts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises tutoring services, including training and managing all tutors.
• Maintains budgetary controls and inventories for tutoring materials and equipment.
• Collects data on schedules, participation and services to improve tutoring.
• Prepares reports and collaborates with other college tutoring labs.
• Ensures safety practices and regulatory compliance.
