Job summary

STAR is seeking a highly organized Training Project Coordinator to lead and coordinate training initiatives funded by a three-year federal grant. The role involves working with OVW, TTA providers, community partners, and STAR leadership to ensure activities are implemented effectively.

The position is grant-funded, time-limited, requires travel within STAR's service area, after-hours availability for hospital or legal accompaniment, and a commitment to survivor-centered practices and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, criminal justice, nonprofit management, or related field; master's preferred.
  • At least one year of professional experience in program coordination, project management, or training implementation.
  • Experience organizing or facilitating interdisciplinary teams or committees.
  • Experience providing direct crisis intervention and/or survivor advocacy.
  • Understanding of crisis services for survivors of sexual trauma.
  • Strong organizational, communication, writing, data management, and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout STAR's service area and respond after-hours for hospital and legal accompaniment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables; serve as central contact among partners.
  • Facilitate an interdisciplinary training implementation team; maintain project records and documentation.
  • Collect and report performance data; collaborate with external evaluators.
  • Assist with grant reporting and compliance; ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate training content.
  • Reflect current best practices in survivor-centered training approaches.
