Job summary

The South Dakota Board of Regents program SD HOSA seeks a dynamic Project & Engagement Coordinator to develop and implement programs and events that foster student engagement, support retention efforts, and enhance the overall student experience. This role focuses on outreach strategies, program management, and creating inclusive opportunities for students.

SD HOSA was established in 2012 and has grown statewide, hosting Fall LAUNCH Academies, mini-camps, and the State Leadership Conference.

Qualifications

Four-year degree and minimum of one year related experience, OR a combination of education and experience equal to five years.
A degree in health, science, or education fields preferred.
Experience working with students of different ethnicities and education levels (K-12, undergraduate, graduate).

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, planning, and execution of large-scale student events (e.g., Peer-to-Peer Ambassador program and State Leadership Conference).
Build and maintain a strong social media presence; market SD HOSA to partners.
Coordinate outreach strategies and programs to foster student engagement and retention.
