Job summary

The Swift Certain Fair (SCF) Supervision Officer works with the Swift, Certain, Fair Dual Diagnosis grant providing Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) defendants with appropriate supervision, case management, and support services to ensure compliance with conditions of their release and the program.

Officers provide the El Paso County courts and relevant attorneys with accurate and timely information regarding a defendant’s performance while on bond and in the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of full-time experience in casework, counseling, or customer service with good interviewing skills.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise those released on bonds and monitor compliance with court orders.
• Coordinate services and referrals; conduct assessments and drug/alcohol screening.
• Appear in court to report on defendant supervision and program performance.
• Maintain data records and communicate with social agencies and law enforcement.
