Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Project Coordinator (Dental Public Health) to manage the project life-cycle under grant funding. You will help develop plans, budgets, staffing, and all documentation to keep initiatives on track.

You will coordinate training, data management, analysis, and reporting, liaise with departments and stakeholders, and ensure events and meetings are well-organized. The role requires strong organization, communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• General business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process.
• Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols.
• Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team-management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow, schedule assignments, and report status to management.
• Create project plans and timelines to ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Coordinate activities including training, data management, and budget preparation.
• Track progress and resolve obstacles to keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor expenditures and prepare financial reports.
• Provide status updates on project progress.
• Prepare and deliver documentation for events and meetings.
• Serve as liaison between departments and stakeholders.
• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
