Job summary

The Department of State Health Services in Austin is seeking a Grant Operations Advisor to oversee federal grant programs, coordinate budgets, track milestones, and ensure timely deliverables on large health projects. You will collaborate with data analysts and epidemiologists to align grant activities with program goals and federal requirements.

Qualifications

Professional experience in grants, contracts, budgets, and operations.
Graduate from an accredited college or university with related coursework preferred.
Experience in project management or grant administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversees grant applications, contracts, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinates cross-functional workgroups to develop project measures and budgets.
Responds to information requests from stakeholders and manages grant closeout activities.
Develops and reviews policies to meet federal guidelines and provides guidance to staff.
Performs duties including disaster response readiness and COOP-related tasks.
