Job summary

UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry is seeking a Coordinator I, Educational Programs, to join the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department.

The role provides comprehensive administrative support for academic, credentialing, and financial operations, managing applications for externship and observer programs, coordinating credentialing across UT School of Dentistry, UT Physicians, and affiliated hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required; may substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
• 1 year of experience in educational setting required.
• Experience in classroom teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and administers educational programs.
• Assists course coordinators in classroom teaching assignments and preparation of course syllabi.
• Maintains and updates course-related web sites and teaching materials.
• Obtains proctors for examinations, assembles examinations, posts grades, and assists students and faculty with course questions.
• Trains and assists faculty, residents, and other personnel on teaching equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
