The Financial Accountant at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh will manage grant accounting, fund reporting, and year-end close for donor-restricted resources. You will collaborate with program managers and finance leadership to ensure accurate tracking of revenues and expenditures and adherence to donor agreements and GAAP.

Responsibilities include budgeting for complex funding proposals, preparing financial reports for foundations and government panels, and maintaining compliance with Uniform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Museum Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in non-profit finance, fund accounting or public grant administration.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of fund accounting and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage grant accounting, financial reporting, and year-end close for donor-restricted resources.
• Coordinate budgeting for complex funding proposals and multi-year campaigns.
• Prepare grant reimbursements, invoices, and funding drawdowns.
• Produce financial reports required by foundations and government agencies.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and nonprofit standards.
