Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a Fund Development and Grant Specialist in Utah to lead the full grants lifecycle. You will research funding opportunities, write proposals, ensure compliance, and cultivate donor relations to advance organizational priorities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with leadership and programs, supporting campaigns, and maintaining CRM records while tracking metrics to guide strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum one year of grant writing and development/fundraising experience.
• Preferred: prior social services grant writing and fund development experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead development, writing, and submission of grant proposals and reports.
• Manage end-to-end grants process including timelines and compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership and programs to gather data for applications.
• Support campaigns and donor communications and stewardship.
• Maintain donor and grant records in the CRM and track revenue.
• Analyze fundraising metrics and prepare actionable reports.
• Partner with Marketing/Events to produce donor communications.
