Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Grant Finance Coordinator to provide admin and financial support for grant-funded programs. You will manage grant payments, sponsor records, financial reporting, and compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.

On-site role in Sioux Falls, SD; collaborate with Finance, AP, HR, and grant stakeholders to ensure timely invoicing and accurate reporting. Associates degree or 3 years related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred education: Associate's degree in accounting or three years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with grant billing, reporting, and compliance is a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, AP, HR and grant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process client billing requests and post payments to client accounts.
• Generate client statements and mail statements each billing cycle.
• Review receivable aging and follow up on collections.
• Coordinate with Chargemaster and IT to create procedures.
• Communicate with department directors to review billing issues.
• Provide administrative support to accountants and ensure internal controls.
