Job summary

Avera Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Grant Finance Coordinator to provide administrative and financial support for grant-funded programs across the organization. You will manage grant payments, sponsor records, financial reporting, contract documentation, grant registrations, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Able to process non-patient billing and postings accurately.
• Experience with grant payments, sponsor records and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Processes client billing requests received and posts payments to appropriate client accounts.
• Generates client statements and mails statements for each billing cycle.
• Reviews receivable aging reports and follows up on collections.
• Coordinates with Chargemaster (CDM) and IT to create procedures and clients.
• Communicates with department directors to review billing or collection issues for clients.
• Responds to customer service inquiries and resolves issues as needed.
• Assists with system conversions related to client billing.
• Provides clerical support to accountants as directed by Financial Reporting Manager.
• Performs duties to ensure compliance with internal control policies.
