Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Patient Accounts Associate in Sioux Falls to verify daily billing data, post receipts, and manage insurance information. You will answer calls, route issues, and input payments into accounts receivable with accuracy, supporting efficient reimbursement processes.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, an Associate's degree in Business Administration or Accounting, and 1–3 years' relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify daily admissions/discharges and ensure billing information is properly organized.
• Answer calls and messages, routing to appropriate personnel.
• Post cash receipts in accounts receivable for self-pay and third-party payments.
