Job summary

The Boston Foundation seeks a Donor Relations Manager to strengthen relationships and expand philanthropic resources, advancing racial and economic justice. As part of the External Affairs Team, you will qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors to maximize engagement and gifts.

The role supports the annual operating budget goals, drives moves management, and grows contributions across campaigns and events, requiring strong CRM skills and donor-centric communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in nonprofit fundraising.
• Proven success meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Adobe Suite and social media preferred.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective and existing donors.
• Develop tailored engagement plans for donors and expand revenue.
• Measure results of giving activities including retentions and upgrades.
• Manage moves management and expand major funder pipeline.
• Represent Embrace Boston at events and initiatives.
