Job summary

Breakthrough Greater Boston is seeking a motivated Development Associate to lead the organization’s development efforts as we expand funding and program impact. You will manage grant calendars, data in eTapestry, donor stewardship, and communications across print and digital platforms, reporting to the Director of Development and Partnerships.

This role offers opportunities to work with a dynamic team and contribute to three major events while advancing educational access for youth.

Qualifications

• At least three years of fundraising experience; grant writing required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; adaptable.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; experience in education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grant writing and management for foundations; maintain submission calendar.
• Manage eTapestry donor database; update records and generate reports.
• Support donor stewardship and events such as annual Gala.
• Create development and marketing communications for print and digital.
