Job description

Grant Coordinator

Works with Pharmacology & Therapeutics Department faculty to increase the number of high‑quality grant submissions resulting in an increase in external funding for the department. Oversees application preparation, including editing, formatting, and revising grants; maintains a centralized database of submitted applications. Provides training and technical assistance for grant submissions to investigators and support staff as needed; assists with preparation of progress reports and submissions to sponsors and ensures other supporting documents remain current. Provides administrative support for the department and education program. This position offers the opportunity to directly contribute to therapeutic antibody discovery programs advancing toward preclinical development.

Pay range: $62,514 – $78,846 annually.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full‑time experience in grant preparation and editing; or an associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full‑time experience in grant preparation and editing.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and experience working in an academic/research environment.
  • Preferred: Previous experience preparing budgets and working with grant submissions.
  • Preferred: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; independent and team working.
