Responsibilities

  • Support department leaders with administrative and operational responsibilities.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, communications, and special projects.
  • Organize information, reports, and materials for department activities.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and visitors.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating departmental initiatives and events.
  • Help maintain efficient workflows and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Provide administrative support for professional staff and leadership teams.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience.

NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

  • Graduate Medical Education
  • Working with trainees and students
  • Coordinating large events (for example: Orientation and Graduation)
  • Onboarding students/trainees
  • Scheduling meetings in Outlook that can include virtual teams/zoom options
  • Preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes
  • Submit invoices and requisitions
