Summary: Performs technical laboratory work of advanced difficulty in a scientific research laboratory.

Salary Range: $47,683 to $60,686.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a science‑related field; or
• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full‑time laboratory experience, including six (6) months experience training or leading subordinate staff or students in the performance of assigned laboratory tasks; or
• Associate’s degree in a science‑related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full‑time laboratory experience, including six (6) months experience training or leading subordinate staff or students in the performance of assigned laboratory tasks; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full‑time laboratory experience, including six (6) months experience training or leading subordinate staff or students in the performance of assigned laboratory tasks.

NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
