Job summary

Harbor Care is seeking a Manager, Grant Administration and Compliance to guide regulatory compliance for State and Federal grants and to support contract management, quality assurance, and project management. The role leads post-award activities, monitors grant performance, and prepares documentation for audits, ensuring timely reporting and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with grant requirements and updates
• Prepare files for audits
• Assess grant workflows and identify inefficiencies
• Implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with grantor requirements
• Maintain sub-recipient oversight and interim reports
• Review grant/contract performance measures and reports
• Forecast hiring needs to fulfill grants
• Lead contract start-up, reporting, extensions, closures
• Follow up on tasks for compliance
• Establish quality documentation system
• Collaborate to introduce trainings
• Liaise with grantors and regulatory agencies
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks
• Manage contract lifecycle
• Manage policy management system
• Facilitate grant and contract approval
• Support subcontracting process
• Maintain updated contract/document management for CEO signature
• Maintain staff and vendor exclusion list
• Manage projects on time within budget and scope
