Job summary

Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles seeks a Grants and Compliance Manager to lead the full lifecycle of grants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and donor requirements and driving funding outcomes. This role sits in Administration and reports to the CEO, coordinating with leadership and the CFO.

Responsibilities include research, reporting, strategic planning, stewardship, grant writing, communications, and external relations to support FHCCGLA’s mission and sustainability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience in grant writing, compliance and management.
• Exceptional attention to detail & accuracy, including proofreading to produce high‑quality work.
• Strong analytical and written/verbally communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full grants lifecycle from proposal to closeout, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and donor regulations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and Board to identify, develop, and secure funding opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a robust, audit-ready grant tracking system with deadlines, budgets, reporting, and staff contacts.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals, LOIs, LOSs, and progress/final reports with minimal supervision.
• Manage donor relations, communications, and stewardship to cultivate ongoing support.
• Coordinate with CFO to align grant budgets with proposals and support reconciliation for audits.
